Co-founder and visionary Chairperson of WREAU, Eileen is an award-winning electrical engineer and renewable energy expert (MSc Renewable Energy, Makerere University). Recognized with the 2020 Micro-Grid Academy Young Talent Award, she drives advocacy, technical training in solar/biomass/hydro, and gender equity initiatives. As Project Engineer at the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation, she manages regional RE projects while mentoring women to build confidence, skills, and visibility in Uganda’s clean energy sector.

Juliet Iniber Namale

Volunteer Program Coordinator

Accomplished Electrical Engineer and Solar Educator with 5+ years specializing in solar system design, installation, energy auditing, and safeguards compliance. As WREAU’s Volunteer Program Coordinator, Juliet leads the creation and rollout of hands-on capacity-building initiatives that boost women’s technical skills and leadership in renewables. Founder of Cradle Energies Limited, she champions STEM education, youth & women mentorship, and practical clean energy solutions to drive sustainable development across East Africa.

Eva Nandaula

Finance Secretary

Dedicated financial steward ensuring transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability for WREAU’s programs. Eva oversees budgeting, fundraising, and resource allocation to maximize impact—enabling more training workshops, mentorship pairings, and advocacy campaigns that empower women across Uganda’s renewable energy value chain.

Passionate mentorship architect creating structured programs that pair emerging women leaders with experienced professionals in renewables.
